Click on 'File' menu in Word
Click on 'Info' in left menu
Click 'Check for Issues' button
Click 'Check Accessibility

Marketplace & install 'Grackle' for Docs, Sheets & Slides (3 links)
In Google Doc, click 'Extensions', 'Grackle Docs', 'Launch'
Fix any errors (red checkmarks)
Check and fix using Equidox PDF Checker
TDS purchased one license per service area that can be shared non-concurrently (logout after use)
If additional licenses are needed they are $1200 / yr.
If Equidox is not available, use Adobe Acrobat DC Checker
(Adobe Acrobat is site-licensed for R10 staff - download via R10 'Software Center' - use Windows search to find)

Online items (webpages, PDFs, etc.) must be navigable using ONLY a keyboard (can you navigate completely without a mouse?). Automated checker software cannot duplicate this testing, so we (people) need to check this manually. Here's more info:
If your online item fails keyboard testing (i.e. you cannot access, uses menus, use a video player, or open every item using only a keyboard) then contact the Web Team for assistance.
