Professional Learning Model (PLM+)

We know the professional experiences we deliver must reflect today’s learning in order to develop the skills of today’s students for tomorrow’s workforce. We focus on a growth mindset that instills a deliberate practice of continuous personal and professional learning.

The PLM+ is a process for designing, delivering, and assessing the impact of our professional learning sessions. Incorporating the PLM+ process as our norm helps us intentionally address these questions:

How effective are we in learning-transfer?
What evidence can we gather to determine that learning has occurred?
What impact do we have on student achievement?
How do we model best practices for the classroom?
Are we improving our practice?
And, how do we know?
