The Learner (After)
At the core of Learning Experience Design is the concept of backwards planning, a curriculum creation framework in which the designer starts with the end in mind, considering how learners will leave the experience.
Ask yourself:
What impact will the learning experience have on the learner in terms of behavior, insight, knowledge, and/or skills?
What is new as a result of the learning experience?
Backwards planning ensures that our learning outcomes are tightly aligned with extension and data collection activities.
