vCastSender Installation

* For Windows laptops only
**vCastSender replaces MirrorOp to cast your laptop screen to a conference room display.

**TDS will push the vCastSender software to employee PCs automatically, but in case you Didn't receive vCastSender, here are instructions on how to download it to your laptop.

  1. Launch Software Center.

  2. Click Start button, type ‘Software Center’ in Search field.

  3. Click ‘Software Center’ to open.

  4. Choose vCastSender from icon (image below), click Install button.

  5. Wait about 2 minutes for software to load.

How to Use vCastSender on Windows

  1. Go to Search field (by Start button on laptop), type in vCastSender.

  2. Should open a window like this below:

**For MacOS

  1. Make sure your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network.

  2. Click Control Center  in the menu bar, click the Screen Mirroring icon , then choose your Apple TV.

  3. If asked, enter a four-digit code on your Mac.

  4. To set whether your desktop mirrors or extends your Mac screen, click the Screen Mirroring icon, then choose Mirror Built-in Display or Use As Separate Display.

**For iOS 

  1. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.

  2. Find the video that you want to stream.

  3. Tap AirPlay . In some apps, you might need to tap a different button first. 

  4. For example, in the Photos app, tap Share , then tap AirPlay .

  5. Choose your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.

  6. To stop streaming, tap AirPlay in the app that you're streaming from, then tap your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from the list.
