2)  And the Web Team will finish the process for you - just complete the 'Accessibility Request Form' below

Calling all content creators!  BEFORE you send your content to the public:
If you'll do the basic accessibility remediation steps below for your various items, then complete the Accessibility Request Form, the Web Team will complete the rest of the fixes to make your item fully compliant with ADA law!

Basic Accessibility Guidelines: Do These!

  • Use > 12 pt Sans Serif fonts (all items)

  • Use good color contrast (all items)

  • Use meaningful hyperlinks (all items)

  • Use proper Title & Headings (all items) 

  • Use table row/column headers, don’t merge cells (all items)

  • Add ‘Alt Text’ to images (all items)(check generated text)

  • Every slide has a unique Title (all slides)

  • Delete empty slide text boxes and trailing empty lines (all slides)

  • Use Proper Reading Order (Left to Right, Top to Bottom ) on all items (docs & slides!)

  • Videos have corrected transcript with proper punctuation, capitalization, and speaker names

    • Use Zoom Transcript (it has speaker names) -or-

    • Use YouTube Request Form to send video to us to run thru Otter to fix transcript
